Soccer Saturday is where most of us get a football fix for the week, the most football games in the world are played on this day, so plenty of chances to make some money.

Italy Serie A
Napoli v Roma – Over 2.5/BTTS @ 1.95 (Bet365) – 3 points
Roma Over 4.5 Corners @ 2.25 (Bet365) – 3 points

Napoli take on Roma in this encounter in the Serie A in what is most definitely the game of the weekend in Italy with the 2nd and 3rd sides in the Italian table taking on each other looking to keep up the pressure against Juventus who play later on in the day. Napoli come into this game after a disappointing loss to Atalanta 1-0 away from home, and will be looking to turn around this form in this encounter. The only disappointing thing in this encounter is that Milik is out injured, but Napoli have plenty of additional firepower with the likes of Gabbiadini looking set to replace him and also they have Mertens, Insigne, Callejon who will be providing support as well. The Napoli defense has been a bit shaky in recent weeks, conceding goals in 3 out of 4 games played at home this season and in such a tight encounter, you can expect goals flowing.

Roma come into this game after some good momentum after beating Inter Milan during the last round of fixtures, and that really motivated the side in a very big way. With the likes of Dzeko, Sharaawy and Salah up front, you know that goals are always likely to come through as they have in all bar 1 of Roma’s domestic games this season. The challenge for Roma will be keeping a clean sheet in this encounter as they have conceded in every away game and have not won any of them.

Roma going back to last season have average over 5.8 corners in their away fixtures, which showcases the great width and crosses that they put in the box. They have played 2 difficult fixtures away from home this campaign against Torino and Fiorentina which saw them smash 13 and 6 corners respectively. If we look at this season alone, they average 8.1 corners per game.

This corners bet would have landed in 6 out of 7 games Roma have played this season in the league, and I expect this run to continue in this encounter, so I am backing Roma over 4.5 corners in this game.

Over 2.5 goals has been scored in 9 of Roma’s last 10 away games while 3 out of 4 Napoli home games have seen over 2.5 goals being scored. With both teams look for goals to keep up the momentum, I am going with Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 goals in this encounter.

England Premier League
Chelsea v Leicester City – Costa to be shown a card @ 3.50 (888Sport) – 1 point
Chelsea v Leicester City – Over 3.5 Cards @ 1.61 (888Sport) – 3 points

Diego Costa comes into this encounter on 4 yellow cards and is 1 away from suspension and will want to try and be careful against Leicester given that their next game is against Manchester United. Diego Costa and his temper however are a different kettle of fish. He has been poor at his discipline that has seen him go in the book 4 times in the 7 domestic games he has featured in so far especially with the new rules that govern the discipline of players against referees.

While Costa will want to be careful, he has the bad luck of having referee Andre Marinner in charge of this game, who has been throwing cards away for fun so far this campaign. He flashed an average of 4 yellow cards so far this campaign with red cards including a red card one domestic game and 3 in the European Competitions. He has refereed a Chelsea game earlier this season against Swansea showing 7 cards in the game along with booking Diego Costa. He has in fact booked Diego Costa in 3 out of the last 4 matches which he has refereed with Chelsea in, and you can expect more of the same especially with the new rules this season.

England Premier League
West Brom v Tottenham – Tottenham over 6.5 corners @ 2.10 (Bet365) – 2 points

Tottenham travel away to the Hawthorns that will see them take on West From in what should be a tight and fiesty encounter. Without Harry Kane being out due to injury, Tottenham will probably lineup with Son in the middle with Janssen being rested for Champions League duty in mid-week. With that Tottenham will play Lamela and Sissoko or Eriksen and Sissoko in the wide spots to give service to Son with Dele Alli right behind him.

Tottenham have been quite attacking from width along with their full backs Rose and Walker, which leads to a lot of corner opportunities for Tottenham. Tottenham’s season average has now gone to 8.3 corners for themselves this season with the same amount coming in their away encounters.

When Tottenham have traveled away to the Hawthorns, the games have been extremely interesting with games being 1-1, 0-3 and 3-3; which shows us that the Baggies will not run away from a fight especially on home turf. Baggies have been conceding corners to keep the ball out of the box conceding an average of 6 per game so far this campaign.

This look to be a fiesty encounter and with Tottenham games being a tad low scoring since the injury to Kane; I am expecting more corners in what should be not an easy encounter for Tottenham. Therefore I am backing over 6.5 team corners for Tottenham in this encounter.
