The second international tournament out of 3 this summer will begin in France, which is EURO 2016. This tournament generally is considered one of the best tournaments around the world, on par with the World Cup in the eyes of many, as it has most of the top teams in the world.

Poland Ah+0.5 to beat Portugal @1.63 (Bet365) – 3 points

Poland come into this game after a confidence winning penalty shootout against the Swiss and that will hold them in good stead if they would like to progress to the next stages of the tournament. For them it’s all about their wide players Blaszcykowski and Grosicki who have continued to work tirelessly and provide service to the man up front. Lewandowski has still yet to make his mark in this tournament while Milik has had flashes of brilliance but unable to put the finishing touches in front of goal. Defensively Poland have been good, conceding their only goal of the tournament to a brilliant effort from Shaqiri late on in the last round. I expect them to continue to frustrate the goal-why Portugese tonight.

Portugal and Ronaldo have continued to perform, much like that have in most of the tournaments before. They continue to struggle to get out of group stages, and then show lack of killer instinct in front of goal. Ronaldo only found the back of the net in 1 game so far, and has had to rely on his wing partners Nani and Quaresma to save their e day for them. Defensively Portugal look like they could concede at any moment especially with Carvalho at the back and they looked more confident with Fonte (replacing Carvalho there). I expect Portugal to try and keep it tight at the back, as long as their concentration holds out.

This game is extremely tight and I think it will go into at least extra time as both defenses will look to not give an inch to either side.
