The second international tournament out of 3 this summer will begin in France, which is EURO 2016. This tournament generally is considered one of the best tournaments around the world, on par with the World Cup in the eyes of many, as it has most of the top teams in the world.

Hungary v Portugal – Over 10.5 corners  @ 1.81 (888Sport) – 3 points

Portugal come into this game with 2 draws on their back and struggling to score goals that would have helped them already secure their spot in the next stage of the tournament. Portugal have had plenty of chances to score goals, but Ronaldo, Nani and Quaresma were not bale to finish it, including Ronaldo missing a sitter of a penalty. Portugal have these good players in width along with their wide players Guerrero and Vieirinha, continue to create chances and bomb crosses for the forwards to try and go. They have earned 21 corner sin the 2 games so far. This game will continue to be the same, with Portugal dominating the possession and continue to get a lot of corners in order to get a win. Portugal have smashed in corners for themselves which reads: 10, 11, 9, 2, 5, 2, 19, 7.

Hungary look like the most secure in this group and will be happy to secure a draw in order to progress into the next round. They will look to keep a clean sheet and frustrate Portugal as much as possible. The team were expected to fall in last spot in this group, but their defensive efforts have seen them keep a clean sheet against Austria and concede just a penalty to Iceland but not in open play. The team love to clear out corners and keep the ball away from the goal. Their game corners have been quite a lot: 8, 8, 5, 10, 10, 13, 16, 11.

This game will be completely dominating by Portugal will try to score while Hungary will try to keep them out, and I expect a lot of corners in this game, so I am backing over 10 corners in this game between Portugal and Hungary.

Belgium to beat Sweden @ 1.85 (Bet365) – 3 points
Sweden v Belgium – Over 10 corners @ 1.80 (Bet365) – 2.5 points

Belgium came into this tournament as one of the favourites to win this group, but the Italians totally outclassed them by keeping it tight at the back. They showcased their talents by smashing the Irish by a score of 3-0; and will be aiming to replicate another victory against the Swedes in their final group game of the tournament. The Belgian finally got their top striker Romelu Lukaku back in good scoring form with 2 goals, while Hazard and De Bruyne got their creative touch by creating the 2 goals for him.  The Belgians creative form has shown to be good, but the finishing was poor which had improved in the last game. They have scored in 10 out of their last 11 games, and I expect them to score again to push on to win this one. The Belgians have had plenty of width and crosses to create chances for them and that has seen a lot of corners flow through the Belgians as has been seen in their last few games with corners: 5, 8, 9, 17, 11, 4, 6. In this critical and important game I expect the Belgian to continue pushing the threat and looking for a goal.

The Swedish Captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced that this will be his last international match for Sweden and he would want to try and finish the game his final game with a goal. However, Zlatan has not got much service from any of this team mates, that has seen them not score a goal nor have a single shot on target so far this tournament. Zlatan has been frequently caught off-side and that is because the balls haven’t been coming on song. Defensively, they have conceded a goal in each of these games, and those struggles have not continued for 4 out of their last 6 encounters. The Swedes will believe they still have a chance to qualify, and therefore will make good attempts in order to deliver a victory. Their defence have been a bit shaky and we have seen them clear the balls in to no mans land in order not to concede. They have also generated a lot of corners in their last few games reading: 11, 10, 11, 7, 8, 11, 9, 11.

This game will see a lot of action, but I expect more corners to flow in this game as both teams go for a win, and there is a good chance that Belgium could steal the win in this encounter.
