The second international tournament out of 3 this summer will begin in France, which is EURO 2016. This tournament generally is considered one of the best tournaments around the world, on par with the World Cup in the eyes of many, as it has most of the top teams in the world.

France come into this game against Switzerland, aiming for a 100% record with a victory that would see them become the first side to cement the 1st spot in the tournament. While they struggled to find the back of the net until the 90th minute, but they completely dominated play through out. New filtering through media sources indicate that Kante and Giroud might be rested in order to save them from suspension in the first knockout stage; so that should mean a straight swap for Greizmann and Pogba from last time’s game. The French need to stamp their authority on this tournament, and nothing would be more perfect than doing it against a struggling Switzerland.
The Swiss have really struggled so far this tournament. They were lucky to steal a narrow 1-0 victory against the Albanians and then were pegged back with a draw against the Romanians. Their struggles showcased how tough this tournament is. Their main striker Haris Seferovic has been merely a spectator, missing a hatful of chances, and not being able to score. They even gave away a penalty early on, and had to struggle to get back into the game against Romania; showcasing how much trouble they are facing defensively. They will likely play a full strength squad, but form and touch is not on their side.
Switzerland should definitely get through this group some how, but will be hoping that Romania do not win by more than 1 goal or Albania does them a favour, but I can’t see anything less than France winning this game against Switzerland.
Romania come into this encounter as favourites to win this contest especially after they played well to lose narrowly to France by a score of 2-1 and then put out a strong 1-1 draw against Albania. The Romanians were unlucky to concede the 1 goals against France which was a special one scored by Dmitri Payet. The Romanians have been quite astute defensively coming into this game, and have relied on scoring the opening goal and then sitting back to keep things tight at the back. They had the meanest defence in qualifying, leaking just 2 goals and will aim to produce a similar return tonight.
Albania on the other hand are yet to find the back of the net in the competition so far. They have focussed a lot of their performance on the defensive end, and despite being the lowest ranked team in the tournament, have not concede more than 1 goal in 89 minutes of football in both their games (France scored in the 90th minute+). They will be happy to welcome back captain Cana back to their lineup, who should hopefully add more defensive stability to them.
4 out of the last 5 games between these 2 teams have not seen more than 2 goals being scored spread over 10 years; and one can expect an extremely tight and cagey game, as Romania would need just 1 goal to secure the 3 points and victory into the next round. I am backing this game to keep in tend with a lot of games in this tournament and going under 2.5 goals.
