Soccer Saturday is where most of us get a football fix for the week, the most football games in the world are played on this day, so plenty of chances to make some money.
England Premier League
Arsenal to beat Sunderland @ 1.80 (Bet365) – 2.5 points
Alexis Sanchez Anytime Scorer @ 2.30 (Bet365) – 2 points
Arsenal travel to Sunderland in search of 3 points in order to keep up their momentum in the push for 3rd spot against Manchester City. Arsenal will feel confident on the back of not losing for 6 games on the trot and will hope that the 2-0 win against a tough Baggies outfit. Alexis Sanchez will be the key face of the club, as they will continue to turn to him for goals. He is in rocking form with 5 goals in his last 4 games and will be aiming to add to his tally against a leaky Sunderland defence. Arsenal should look to continue fielding them same 4 up front to partner Sanchez with Girod, Iwobi and Ozil expected to keep their places up front.
Sunderland have leaked goals in 19 out of their last 20 games, and that has contributed to their struggles this season. They beat out their relegation rivals in Norwich by a score of 2-0; but things will look difficult when Sunderland come to town. They have struggled against the Gunners losing in 6 out of their last 7 outings, and when Arsenal need to seal off their Champions League spot, you can expect them to come in full tilt into this encounter. Sunderland will definitely concede, but are looking 50-50 to find the back of the net. Sunderland will rely a lot on Borini, Defoe and Khazri to help them up front, but none of them have delivered with consistency required to even survive this season.
Arsenal look in form heading into this encounter, and will not let the gas loose, despite the high pressure from Sunderland in front of their home fans, but I expect the Gunners to continue their winning ways and march to victory in this encounter.
Juventus are rocking their way to the Serie A title and could have the title wrapped up by tonight with a victory against Fiorentina. Juventus have been in rocking form beating all opponents in their way unbeaten in their last 24 games, with just 1 draw in that period. They have smashed Fiorentina, Milan, Napoli, Inter, Roma, Napoli and Lazio in mid-week and will be looking to continue in that rich vein of form in order to seal off a 5th straight Italian Scudetto. Juventus had everyone in form in mid-week with Pogba, Mandukic, Dybala playing well and could have smashed at least 5 goals past Lazio, but only landed up with 3 in that duration. Defence of Juventus has been superb keeping clean sheets in 13 out of their last 15 games, and will be expected to continue this same vein of form.
Fiorentina have been struggling really badly with just 1 victory in their last 9 games, coming up against a poor Sassuolo side. They have conceded goals in 8 out of those 9 games, which is the clear indication of the struggles for results which they have had. On the offensive end, Ilic and Zarate have been contributing to the goals in the recent weeks with other key players like Kalinic, Babacar, Tello, Fernandez and Bernardschi have all been struggling to contribute. Fiorentina should hold on to their Europa League spot which they have a 6 point lead over AC Milan, and will look to have this game a pass against a Juventus team who have beaten them in their last 3 outings.
Juventus will want to have the party started tonight when they secure victory, the title will be in their hand, and I expect Juventus to win but taking the Asian Handicap for a bit of insurance.
