Soccer Saturday is where most of us get a football fix for the week, the most football games in the world are played on this day, so plenty of chances to make some money.
Leicester City are now counting down their way to the title as they have continued to maintain their 5 point lead over Tottenham. The odds compilers have totally underestimated the league leaders Leicester who have only lost 3 times this season and are taking on a Crystal Palace team who have failed to win for 12 games straight in the league but look reasonably safe with 8 games to go with games against Newcastle, Norwich and Stoke to go; they should grab enough points to ensure safety for another year. Palace’s struggles have been primarily on defensively, where they have concede around 2 goals per game in those 12 games that they haven’t won. Palace have added Adebayor to their front line, but he has struggled to make an impact so they have to rely on Wickham, Cabaye, Zaha and Bolasie to try and contribute to their goals.
Leicester have been in great form coming into this encounter against Palace dropping just one game since the turn of the new year; which was an exciting 2-1 loss to Arsenal. Leicester have managed to now lose a single game to the bottom half teams winning 12 and drawing 4 in the 16 games they have played so far. With Mahrez, Vardy, Fuchs, Okazaki, Ulloa, Drinkwater and King all contributing to their goals over the recent period; one can expect Leicester to continue their attacking instincts to take it to Palace in this encounter. Defensively, Leicester have managed to do well keeping 3 clean sheets in their last 4 games with Schmeichel’s form a big factor in their progress to the top of the table.
I expect Leicester to continue on their merry way with another victory and I back them on the draw no bet market as insurance.

West Ham come into this game on the back of some great form where they have not lost since the last 7 games on the trot in all competitions while not losing by more than 1 goal since 22nd November when they dropped to a 4-1 loss to Tottenham. West Ham have now started getting all their players fit and ready for the tail end of the season, where they can hope to push for victories that can enable them to secure a Champions League birth. West Ham have a great attacking threat in Payet, Antonio, Sakho, Valencia and Lanzini who have continued to deliver strong performances that has helped them grab results and lose just 2 games since that Tottenham loss. Defensively they now have Song/Kouyate in the midfield to give cover to the back 4 which has seen them play extremely tight at the back.
Chelsea on the other hand are going through a tough spell, after getting knocked out of the Champions League, FA Cup and Capital One Cup, a high finish with a Europa League spot is all that they could potentially play for despite being undefeated in the league since Hiddink has taken over. Chelsea will be missing several important players coming into this encounter with Terry, Zouma, Hazard and Falcao all missing this encounter due to injuries and Costa suspended for this encounter; its difficult to see if Traore can hold up the front line for Chelsea up front along with Pato who might be in line for his first start of the season. Defensively, Chelsea have been quite poor conceding goals in 9 straight games in a row in all competitions, and coming back from a 2 game losing streak to Everton and PSG.
This game will be an extremely tight one, with West Ham looking to fight for that Champions League spot; I expect them to either nick a narrow win, or worst case draw this encounter. IN either case, I am going to ensure myself on the Asian Handicap of +1 goal for West Ham.

West Brom come into this encounter at home in front of their fans at the Hawthorns going undefeated in 10 out of their last 11 home games including against good teams like Man Utd, Palace, Stoke, Tottenham, Arsenal. Today they will feel confident to take on a struggling Norwich City side who have failed to win 11 straight games in all competitions. The Baggies have relied on the likes of Rondon, Berahino up front to score the goals with ample support from players like Gardner, Brunt, Sessengnon to create the opportunities for them. Defensively, they have been reasonably solid this season getting into the top 10 better defences in the league. They are 6th in the league on the form guide and will take on a struggling Norwich side who have lost 11 out of 15 games on the road.
Norwich have been struggling, 2nd from bottom on the form guide behind Aston Villa its just 2 points out of a possible 15 points, and taking on a tough West Brom side who are quite good at home. Norwich’s biggest problems have come up front with just 31 goals in 30 games played so far; and a lot of chopping and changing with their front line. Norwich have won just 1 game since the turn of the year and things get worst in this game as they will miss Tettey, Redmond, Naismith and Bennett out of this game which will showcase the struggles especially offensively. Norwich stole a point against a slightly tired Man City team last week, but travelling away from home against the baggies, is a different agenda.
I am looking to back West Brom on the Asian handicap as insurance incase it lands up being a draw, we can get half our money back.
