As Super Sunday arrives, many top leagues around the world have football action happening, so we aim to look at some good opportunities to make profit in them.
West Ham travel away to a Manchester United team who are really struggling to progress this season, and now even face a major challenge getting into European competition for next season. They are almost out of the Europa League after facing a 2-0 deficit and now are being pipped to 4th and 5th place by Man City and West Ham. The Hammers will want to inflict more pain to Manchester United coming into this encounter.
West Ham are in outstanding form coming into this encounter on the back of a 6 game unbeaten run with 2 draws and 4 wins. The 4 wins now have all come in a row beating Blackburn, Tottenham, Sunderland and even Everton after coming back from a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2. Confidence is sky high and the style of football is enjoying to watch under Bilic’s West Ham, who are aiming to end their run at the Boleyn ground with a trophy. For West Ham, Payet is the one who continues to pull the strings in midfield along with the hard working Song and Noble. This gives the 3 offensive players in Sakho, Antonio and Lanzini to keep bombing forward while he creates the chances. Defensively is where the Hammers need to improve due to the many injuries, but welcome back Joey O’Brien to help their defensive woes.
Manchester United are really struggling and with their most experienced attacking player in Juan Mata being suspended right now, things will look difficult for them. United already have a lot of players injured like Rooney, Young, Shaw, Valencia, Jones and Keane. A lot of reliance will have to go on the teenage pair of Rashford and Martial. Manchester United have managed to turn up the atmosphere at old Trafford and managed to win 4 games in a row in front of their fans. Tonight they will face a little stiffer oppositions against West Ham who played out a tough 0-0 draw against them at the Boleyn. United played on Thursday night so a lot of players will be drained out from that tough encounter, especially the defenders who played a hard fought 90 minutes.
I expect this came to be an extremely tight one, with the Hammers to either sneak out a narrow win or this landing up being a draw.
Tottenham are 3-0 down in the Europa League after fielding a weakened squad. They only did that for just one reason, they want to win the Premier League. Tottenham have put all of their eggs into the Premier League basket and taking on a struggling Aston Villa side who held out Manchester City until half time last time around, but then got smashed 4-0 in the second half. Villa have really struggled and their games coming up is not going to help their cause to survive. They have now lost 6 out of their last 7 games, and with the up coming schedule of Tottenham, Swansea and Chelsea who are playing really well. Villa’s defence have now 15 goals in their last 4 games, and the Spurs lineup will be licking their lips to face this Villa team tonight.
Tottenham have now failed to win their last 3 games including a tight 1-0 loss to West Ham, a 2-2 draw with Arsenal and a 3-0 loss against Dortmund. With 5 points separating them with Leicester City, every game now for the Spurs is do or die for them especially if they want to try and secure the title. Harry Kane was given the night off against Dortmund until he came on for a cameo in the last few minutes so he should be relatively fresh heading into this encounter. Eriksen, Lamela, Chadli come into this game in great form, so one would expect them to hit a lot on the counter attack against Aston Villa. The Spurs defence has to be more focussed after leaking unnecessary goals against Arsenal late on as well as conceding 3 against Dortmund.
This game won’t be tight in my opinion, Tottenham will look to score the goals to help build their goal difference incase it comes to that against Leicester and I am expecting a rout coming from Tottenham tonight by a couple of goals.
Italian Serie A
Roma to beat Udinese @ 1.88 (Bet365) – 3 points
Roma Race to 7 Corners @ 2.10 (Bet365) – 2 points (#INPLAYMAGIC)
Roma Over 1.5 Goals @ 1.50 (Bet365) – 2 points (#INPLAYMAGIC)
Roma head into this encounter scoring 12 goals while conceding only 2 beating Palermo, Empoli and more importantly was a tough encounter against rivals Fiorentina. They played really well in mid-week against Real Madrid, but forgot their shooting boots back in Rome as they missed 3 point blank chances to score and try to bring the tie closer against Real Madrid; and later on it was too late to keep up with Real Madrid. Roma will rely on their front 3 of Dzeko, Salah and el Sharaawy who each scored 2 goals in their last 3 Serie A games; and will aim to inflict a strong performance against Udinese who have won just 1 of their last 10 games.
Udinese have struggled this campaign and that has seen them sitting 4 points above the final relegation spot. The biggest issue for Udinese this year has come on the offensive end where they have scored only 24 goals in 28 games which is the worst in the Serie A till date. They have even struggled at home winning just 4 games while losing badly against the top teams like Juventus (4-0), Inter (4-0), Milan (3-2), Fiorentina (3-0) which showcases their struggles against good offensive teams.
I expect Roma to continue on their merry way to try and win their games as they push to keep Inter away from them for the 3rd Champions League spot and at the same time keep the pressure on Napoli in case they slip points to try and push to the 2nd spot. Roma should be able to beat Udinese comfortably tonight and it could even be by a couple of goals.
