The NBA season is back tonight, and we go straight in early on this time with a pick in order to try and take advantage of some poor lines early on.
Paul George is the best player on the Indiana lineup, and over the last 5 games he is showing the NBA that he truly back to his peak form. PG-13 is looking on track for the the getting the most improved player or comeback player of the year award.
George is averaging 26 points per game over the season, and 30 points over the last 5 games. George has been tearing it apart all season, and not necessarily his explosiveness to the pain has been back, but he has been lighting it up from 3-point territory. He has been taking around 7-8 shots per game, knocking down 4 of them. While from the field he has been attempting 21 shots per game, netting 11 of them. He also gets around 6 points from the charity stripe.
In his last 5 games he has faced good defenders like Snell/McDermott, Antetokounmpo, Jared Dudley, LeBron James, Tayshaun Prince, Tobais Harris, Jay Crowder among others and has managed to knock around 26 points points against most of them. Tonight George will guard up against Kobe Bryant and Metta World Peace; who are way past their prime and are just a tad slower than someone you need to guard for Paul George.
I am sure George is going to continue to be his explosive best and knock down these points tonight.
