The NBA season is back tonight, and we go straight in early on this time with a pick in order to try and take advantage of some poor lines early on.

NBA Basketball
DOUBLE @ 2.00 (Bet365) – 2 points
MIL Bucks + 15.5 points v CLE Cavaliers
SAC Kings + 13.0 points v MIA Heat

CLE v MIL – L James Over 28.5 points @ 1.85 (888Sport) – 2.5 points

LeBron James has been on fire and I cannot remember the last time that he has scored less than 31 points in a game. The King has been playing at an elite level this season already averaging 27 points per game, which is the 4th highest scorer in the NBA. He is already putting up MVP type numbers averaging 27 points, 6.7 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game.

LeBron’s advantage so far this season has been that there aren’t many small forwards of great quality out there in the league; which gives him the opportunity to out play his opponents. When we take a look at his last 6 games, he hasn’t scored less than 29 points in those game, with the average being 31 points per game. He has done that due to his improved shooting from downtown attempting 5 and knocking down 2 for 40% during that duration. He also has increased his trips to the line from 8 times to almost 11 a night. LeBron is the focal point of this offence along with Kevin Love, so he always will get around 22 shots per game, and he has been knocking down around 11 of them. If we just take his free throws and his times to the line alone, he should easily make 30 points in this game.

In this encounter he takes on Jabari Parker or Middleton; who he dominated in their last appearance netting 37 points; but unfortunately he was not able to get them on to the winning side. James might have to play a few more minutes than usual due to the potential absence of Mo Williams, so we will need to take additional play making duties or additional scoring as well.

LeBron should easily go past this mark tonight of 28.5 points.

GS Warriors Over 109.5 points v LA Clippers @ 1.85 (888Sport) – 2.5 points

The Golden State Warriors are the most hot offensive team in the NBA today and will be looking forward to facing their divisional rivals in the LA Clippers tonight. The Warriors are the best team in the NBA at this point going 12-0 and are averaging almost 114 points per night.

Tonight when they take on the Clippers, they face a team that is allowing 104 points per game on average already to the rest of the league. Imagine what will happen when Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green come into town to shoot the lights out of the Staples Center? The last 2 meetings with the Clippers have seen them score an average of 111 points including beating the Clippers at home, scoring 110 points in the bargain.

The Clippers will look to continue struggling as they are going to be missing Chris Paul and JJ Redick, who are key to their backcourt on the scoring front but also on the defensive ability. In their absence, the Clippers have struggled losing 2 out of the last 3 games. They had Jamal Crawford and Austin Rivers start, which because of their lack of depth, saw them play 40 minutes each in that counter. The Suns backcourt of exploded for 65 points against the Clippers with the 2 of them missing.

Steph Curry has continued his scoring form and along with Klay Thompson, are averaging around 50 points per game this season. Adding other role players can definitely help the Warriors in the scoring, and with the Clippers defines generally being poor; the Warriors should take advantage and knock down 110 points in this game.
