The NBA season is back tonight, and we go straight in early on this time with a pick in order to try and take advantage of some poor lines early on.

NBA Basketball
HOU v DAL – J Harden Over 28.5 points @ 1.85 (888Sport) – 2.5 points

James Harden is looking forward to facing Dallas especially after the team has lost to 2 poor teams in Denver Nuggets and Brooklyn; and it will be up to Harden to stand up and take notice especially with Howard potentially having his minutes monitored.

Harden went through some struggles and worked hard last night scoring 28 points last night. His success is what actually helps the team in its growth. The Rockets struggled initially, but had built up a 4 game winning streak all led by Harden scoring 37 against OKC; 28 against ORL, 43 against SAC and 47 against LAC. The last 2 games has seen him score 28 and 23 points; but his troubles in his 3-point shooting and his shooting percentage which has seen him struggle.

Harden is at his best when he taking the ball to the rim and making the difficult shots while facing his opponents. In particular tonight he will be expected to be guarded by Matthews, Barea or Parsons; but most of them are struggling due to injuries; so might not have the best ability to defend. Harden has been making more attempts to the free throw with 12 attempts per game, knocking down at least 10.

Harden should enjoy home comforts and his success has seen him average 38.5 points per game; and if the Rockets want to win; they will definitely count one his success and points scoring to deliver the goods; and I’m back him to do it.

GS Warriors Over 112.5 points @ 1.83 (Bet365) – 3 points
GSW v BKN – S Curry Over 28.5 points @ 1.85 (888Sport) – 2.5 points

The Golden State Warriors will be looking forward to facing the Brooklyn Nets who lost a hard fought game last night by 2 points after leading for majority of the game. The Nets will be absolutely exhausted from the effort last night. Their key players in Joe Johnson, Jarrett Jack, Bogdanovic and Brook Lopez all played over 33 minutes yesterday in the tough effort, and will find it a struggle against a fast paced Golden State team tonight. The Nets might actually need to rely a lot on their 3-point shot which is the 2nd worst in the NBA at 29%.

The Warriors have battered and bruised any opponent who have been able to enter their house where they are a perfect 5-0 and especially 10-0 for the season. The Warriors are averaging nearly 114 points per game on their home floor. They have been ably led by Steph Curry who is averaging 33 points per game, which is one of the highest averages per game to begin the first 10 games for the season other than Jordan and Chamberlain. Along with his team mates who are averaging double digits per game Klay Thompson (15 pts); Harrison Barnes (14 pts) and Draymond Green (12 pts). They have also got greater support this year from Ezeli, Barbosa and Livingston who have gotten bigger roles and improved their scoring averages to help the team.

The Warriors will love to continue on their merry way, and always have a good time in front of their home fans. Steph Curry and his merry band will continue to entertain the crowd, and I expect them to score over 112 points in this game.

PHX Over 104.5 points v DEN – @ 1.83 (Bet365) – 2 points
