Man City AH-1 to beat Aston Villa @ 2.15 (Bet365) – 2 points
Man City Race to 7 Corners @ 1.72 (Bet365) – 3 points (#INPLAYMAGIC)
The Citizens travel away to Aston Villa who have recently signed new manager Remi Garde last week and he saw his team lose last week 3-1 to Tottenham Hotspur; and one cannot imagine that he is going to have them put in a better performances against the League Leaders Man City tonight.
Man City despite their slew of injuries have been playing well heading into this game. They have won 3 and drawn one out of their last 4 games. In fact they have only lost 2 games all season, one against Tottenham and once against West Ham. Man City have relied more on their offence in the recent stretch rather than defence. Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, Yaya Toure and Wilfried Bony have been performing exceptionally well ensuring that the goals have been flowing through ever since Aguero got injured. They have scored 17 goals in the 6 games since he has gone down, and truly relied on a combined effort from all to deliver the wins.
The Villains are doomed for relegation and you would actually love for them to get relegated in order to learn from their mistakes they have made over the years. Not investing in the squad, and looking for free players and selling off their best players has been the way of this team since many years now. Since 2010-11 season after the Martin O’Neill fiasco; they have failed to finish inside the top 10, finishing 16,15,15 and 17th in that run of form. The players also have looked extremely lacklustre with only Grealish and Sinclair looking like players who want to play and perform for this team.
Man City should have enough in the tank to beat these Villains, and I am backing them to cover the Asian line here today.
Inter Milan come into this game against Torino in the early kick off sitting in 2nd spot and looking to build on their success early on this season. Milan have now won 2 games on the trot beating Roma & Bologna in 2 straight games. The Return of Mancini has helped to reorganise the side and be more focussed one defines, the true Italian Way, to shut up shop and ensure that the team are grinding out victories. The offensive firepower of Inter has been pretty good with the likes of Jovetic, Icardi and Perisic up front; which gives them a great threat on the counter attack to score goals.
Torino on the other hand are really really struggling. They have failed to win in their last 5 games on the trot an conceded 11 goals in their last 5 games. Their defensive troubles has been a major reason for their losses, as they have managed to find the net in some of those games. Torino have a lot of injuries and suspensions to contend with missing players like Bovo, Obi, Averlar, Maksimovic, Acquah and Jansson. Torino are lacking confidence in their team and with many of those players being on the defensive line, there is a good chance that those defensive struggles continue. Baselli and Quagliarella will continue to push on for a goal, but it will be a bit difficult against Inter who have only conceded 7 goals in 11 games.
Inter look a much more steady team, having just lost 1 games all season, and will expect to hold on and draw at the worst case, and thats why I back them on the Draw No Bet market.
