Super Sunday is the day with the top teams across Europe in encounters looking to seal up winning positions in their respective leagues.

England Premier League
Arsenal DNB to beat Man Utd @ 2.10 (Betfair) – 2.5 points
Arsenal to score in 2nd Half @ 1.90 (Betfair) – 3 points (#INPLAYMAGIC)

Arsenal travel to Manchester to take on a United team who have been in mixed form losing 3 out of their last 4 games. Arsenal themselves are in great form losing just 1 out of their last 12 games, which was daylight robbery from Swansea last week.

With both teams trying to avoid the playoffs in the Premier League; they will be in an all-out attacking mood. Arsenal in particular should be set up by Wenger to take advantage of the exposed United team who are missing Shaw, Carrick and Rooney who are the lynchpins of their team. Falcao will probably start up front which does not bode too well for their chances to score, while former boy van Persie should make an appearance at some point during the fixture. Defensively with Smalling, Jones, Evans and McNair as the 4 to choose 2 centre backs, they have conceded easily goals in 7 straight games.

Arsenal will be in buoyant mode despite a loss last time around to Swansea. While they played an excellent game, their finishing was a bit poor which prevented them from securing the victory. Now with 3 games to go; they will be ready to go guns blazing in this encounter against their fierce rivals. Back in February, Arsenal beat United at Old Trafford and will be keen to replicate a similar performance this time around. Arsenal have a fully fit squad to choose from mainly based on the players who have been playing for the last 2 months, the others all are long term injury absences.

I expect Arsenal to steal a victory against Man Utd at Old Trafford; and backing them on the draw no bet market to get the win.

Swansea v Man City – Aguero Anytime Scorer @ 1.80 (William Hill) – 2 points
Swansea v Man City – Man City to win 1st half @ 2.50 (Betfair) – 3 points (#INPLAYMAGIC)

While Man City travels away to Swansea, they will know that they have a hit-man in Sergio Aguero scoring 8 goals in the last 5 games coming into this fixtures and knowing that a victory tonight should theoretically seal up their spot as an automatic qualifier in the Champions League for next season.

Aguero’s recent form has helped Man City win 4 out of their last 5 games, with their only defeat coming against Man Utd in that time, but he still manage to smash 2 goals in that game. Aguero will start this game up front by himself, will take the penalties of the team, and also has a lot of support from the midfield and the wingbacks who supplement him with some great balls in order to score. His partnership with Silva has been instrumental in the team building a strong run to the title last year as well as setting up plays and clearing defenses to make space for him; and I expect that to continue.

Aguero is truly a man in form, playing against a team who has lost 3 straight games against them, goals galore is the only thing that Aguero is thinking of.

Italian Serie A
Atalanta v Genoa – Over 2.5 & BTTS @ 2.05 (Bet365) – 2 points

Atalanta will be going for the goals tonight as they need 3 points to guarantee survival tonight at home in front of their fans in Genoa. They have been in an attacking mode in the last few weeks which them score in their last 8 games in a row; and out of which over 2.5 goals have been scored in 5 out of the last 8 games as they continued their march for survival. They have scored only a goal per game on average, but have turned up the music in the last few weeks, and will want to give their fans something nice to cheer on, by going for the victory tonight.

Genoa on the other hand are in tremendous form, winning 5 out of their last 7 games, and have done so by scoring a lot of goals in those games. They have scored in every game, bar the one against Roma in the run of 7 games, and they rounded off last week with a 5-1 thrashing of Torino in front of their home fans. Falque has been instrumental in their goal scoring exploits; and a victory tonight can push in the driver’s seat for a Europa League spot; as they are extremely determined to get into Europe for next season.

Both teams to score have landed in the last 4 outings between the 2 sides, and I expect a similar situation this time around as well.
