We are back to post-weekend action with MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, with just a couple of picks for this evening.

England Premier League
Arsenal v Swansea – Sanchez Anytime Scorer @ 2.05 (Bet365) – 2.5 points
Arsenal to beat Swansea @ 2.00 (Betfair) – 3 points (#INPLAYMAGIC)

Arsenal take on Swansea looking to win and cement their 3rd spot in the league and the automatic qualification for the Champions League for another year. Arsenal have had a solid record at home losing just 1 game at home and a lot of that has been due to the performances of their signing of the season Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez has been in great form coming into this game scoring 5 goals in their last 5 games, and netted 16 goals all campaign to lead all Arsenal scorers. Sanchez keeps showing us how quick he is, able to make run away from the ball and get into positions which helps him get free shots on target. He did similar last week and that saw him score a goal last week off a fantastic pass from Aaron Ramsey.

With his recent form and scoring ability, you can’t not back him for an anytime scorer pick today. Sanchez takes the direct free-kicks for Arsenal which gives him the added dimension of an opportunity to score. With Giroud also struggling to score and Arsenal needing this win, I expect the team set to turn to Sanchez to score and seal the victory for Arsenal.

French Ligue 2
Angers to beat Sochaux @ 1.80 (Bet365) – 2.5 points

Angers head into this game against Sochaux looking towards a win to keep their position with Ajaccio as they go in search promotion to Ligue 1 and they will almost seal it with victory tonight. A win infact will move them to 2nd spot in the table to that they are confirmed to be promoted.

Angers come into this game with some solid form at home winning 3 and drawing 2 and haven’t lost at home since 26th of January, which will show you what a tough place it is to visit. On top of everything they have only conceded 1 goal at home in those last 5 games at home and lost only 2 games at home all campaign. They have managed to score sufficiently also & been ably led up front by Kodjia scoring 15 goals and Camara.

Sochaux are in mid-table and are quite far off from promotion, and will have nothing to play for but pride. Looking into their recent form, they haven’t won over a month with 3 losses and 1 draw in that period. Away from home they haven’t won a game since January, compounding their struggles that has seen them fall away from the top half of the table.

With nothing to play for and form not on their side, I think Sochaux will not be too bothered about this game and expect Angers to seal a win in this game virtually sealing of promotion as well.
