England Premier League
Man Utd v Man City – Over 2.5 goals @ 1.90 (Betfair) – 2.5 points
Man Utd v Man City – Over 10.5 corners @ 1.90 (Bet365) – 2.5 points
Man Utd v Man City – Wayne Rooney Anytime Scorer @ 2.30 (Bet365) – 2 points

Manchester United come into a derby against Manchester City as a favorite for the first time in many years. The reason being their outrageous form coming into this game with a 5 game winning streak behind their belt. Another reason for their great form has been the recovery of the shooting boots of Wayne Rooney who has been pushed up front in the absence of RVP and Falcao with Fellaini given the support role behind him. Juan Mata has also found his shooting boots since getting back into the squad and his creativity opens up a lot of chances for the United outfit. With the exception of the game against Southampton where they failed to score, United have racked up 2 goals in 5 straight games at home and in 9 of their last 10 games.

Manchester City have been poor form heading into this game with with 3 straight away losses against Liverpool, Burnley and Crystal Palace while losing 4 straight in all competitions. City’s biggest problem has been ability to stop conceding, which they have done at home, but conceded in all away from home. Aguero has been absolutely out of form, Bony has been given sporadic opportunities while Jovetic and Dzeko have been off the bench in most games. Their midfield impact form Silva, Toure, Nasri, Navas has also been limited and has contributed to their struggled. However, let’s not forget this is a derby with Manchester United where form guide tends to go out of the book. City have beaten United 3-0, 2-1 and 6-1 in their last 3 visits to Old Trafford and taken the last 4 games between the 2 sides; so form guide can be chucked out of the window.

With both teams struggling to keep clean sheets regularly, one can expect a lot of goals from a hit-man in Rooney looking to strike to another hit-man in Aguero looking to regain form. This is the first time since Sir Alex left that United have been above City in the table, and a win or draw for United will keep them in 3rd spot ahead of the noisy neighbors. A cracking encounter will be in store with lots of goals expected to flourish between the 2 sides.
