I am back to tipping on SOCCER SATURDAY after missing a few weeks out busy with work; and hope that this outing today might prove profitable.

England Premier League
Arsenal AH-1 to beat Newcastle @ 1.95 (Bet365) – 3 points

Arsenal come into this game after winning 2-0 in Monaco, but couldn’t find that 3rd goal that would help them qualify. They will look to vent out a lot of frustration tonight away at Newcastle who have just won 2 games against a poor Hull and Aston Villa, but lost most of those post that game.

Arsenal have a lot of players who are in great form, and this game could potentially be a rout by Wenger’s men. Sanchez, Giroud, Welbeck, Ramsey and Cazorla have all been in great scoring or providing assists form, and with a solid defense backing them, they have nothing to worry about but going for the victory. The usual suspects are missing due to injury, but otherwise Wenger has a full strong squad to choose from, and should motivate his team to do the business.

Newcastle are struggling to find players to field as they have only 13 fit senior squad players tonight, and will need to look to their reserves in order to field the bench. Players like Coloccini, Cisse, Aarons, Tiote, Taylor, Dummet, De Jong, Haidara are among those missing to fill up the squad.

Arsenal should easily win this game, and thats why I go with high confidence in picking Gunners to win this game by 2 goal margin.

Tottenham AH-1 to beat Leicester City @ 2.03 (Bet365) – 2.5 points
Tottenham to beat Leicester City @ 2.40 (Betfair) – 2 points (#INPLAYMAGIC)

Tottenham are in reasonably good form coming into this game against Leicester with only loss in over 2 months in the Premier League coming last week against Manchester United. And something was due to crack as they had played 6 games in 20 days, and they needed this last week to rest up and for the squad to be fresh to take part in this game.

Tottenham will look to maintain their charge towards at least securing a Europa League spot this campaign as they sit just 4 points behind Liverpoool who are in 5th spot in the table. Tottenham’s charge has come behind Harry Kane who won the Premier League player of the month for a 2nd month in a row, and he was rewarded with a call up to the England squad this week. He will want to showcase to Roy Hodgson his skills and will want to against a poor Leicester side who they bit in the reverse fixture in the League. Along with Kane it was Eriksen who netted in the last fixture between the 2 sides, and you can expect a similar performance from Spurs considering they are all now well rested.

Leicester have been struggling particularly away from home, where they have only won 2 games from 15 while conceding around 27 goals during that time. Leicester look doomed for relegation sitting rock bottom of the league with their last victory coming against a struggling Villa side at the time on 10th of January. Their strikers have not fared well at all, plus injury to keeper Schmeichel did not help things in terms of solidity at the back as they got a veteran in Schwarzer at the back who is struggling with age.

Tottenham will look to their home crowd support to help them secure a victory, and I think they should be able to win this with at least a 2 goal margin.
