SOCCER SATURDAY and the Premier League is back after 10 days now, and I look to try and take some good value in some games  today.

England Premier League
Man City AH-1.5 to beat Newcastle @ 1.85 (Bet365) – 2.5 points

Manchester City need to start winning games, as they had failed to win a single one during the month of January, and that has been due to the absence of Yaya Toure. Now he is also back and has had a good 10 day rest and they also have their new hit-man Wilfried Bony also in, and I expect probably Man City will start with 2 strikers after a very long time. They need to start picking up victories to try and keep up with pace of Chelsea to take advantage of any slip up. I expect all of their key players Silva, Toure, Nasri, Aguero, Hart, Zabaleta and Kompany all to start to get some good football under their belt before the key Champions League fixture against Barcelona. A convincing win against a struggling Newcastle team, will definitely help them build confidence and I expect the home crowd to rally behind the fans tonight.

Newcastle had a good win against Hull City 3 weeks ago, but since then have had 2 draws with a 1-1 at Crystal Palace and a 1-1 at home against Stoke City. They have been struggling since the departure of Pardew and have won just 2 games over the last 2 months to re-iterate their struggles this campaign. They also have a lot of injuries to contend with as the likes of De Jong, Dummett, Cabella, Tiote, Taylor, Aarons and Elliott all absent from this encounter today, which will give manager Carver a lot to worry about.

I expect Man City to finally come back to form, and that should happen with a convincing victory tonight.

German Bundesliga
Freiburg v Hoffenheim – Over 2.5 goals @ 1.70 (Pinnacle) – 2 points

Games involving Hoffenheim are always entertaining in the Bundesliga because invariably they produce a lot of goals in their games and with this low odds and since the winter break, they have played 4 games, with all of them having 3 goals being scored in them.

Hoffenheim’s last 4 games, have had 12 goals involved in them, and this shows the kind of action that I was talking with about above. For the season their games have had 67 games in 21, which is an average of over 3 goals per game showcasing on how entertaining those games have been. Hoffenheim have struggled away from home with just 9 points gained in 10 games, but have had 27 goals involved in those games, so you can definitely expect entertainment from this game.

Freiburg have been struggling all campaign that has seen them sit in 16th spot in the table, with just 21 points in 21 games so far. Their games have had 53 goals in 21 games, which is around 2.5 goals per game. They have struggled both home and away, grabbing only 10 points in 10 games with 26 goals in those games, mainly because they have been conceding a lot. They are the 3rd lowest scoring team in the league, and that is one of the major reasons they have been struggling, but have scored 6 goals in their last 4 games.

The last 3 matches between the sides have been 3-3, 1-1, 3-3, 2-1, 5-3; and I expect another high scoring encounter in this game tonight.

Swansea v Man Utd – Over 12 Asian Corners @ 2.00 (Bet365) – 3 points (#INPLAYMAGIC)

England Championship
Middlesbrough v Leeds United – Over 18.5 corners @ 2.10 (Bet365) – 2 points (#INPLAYMAGIC)
