SUPER SUNDAY football is back in February, and after a lousy football run, need a dramatic turnaround in Feb.

England FA Cup
Arsenal v Middlesbrough – BTTS @ 1.91 (William Hill) – 2 points

Arsenal take on Middlesbrough in the FA Cup 5th round, and will be looking to win this with the thought in their mind that they are taking on a Championship outfit tonight. However, they take on a Middlesbrough side who are joint top of the Championship with a game in hand and will probably be a Premier League side next week.

Arsenal have been in good form coming into this game losing just 3 out of their last 15 games, and will feel reasonably confident coming into this big encounter. With some of their big guns gaining form like Ozil, Giroud, Cazorla, Sanchez, Walcott and Ramsey coming into this game, Arsenal will feel confident of securing this result at home and scoring goals. The problem for Arsenal comes from their defensive efforts where they have conceded in 3 of their last 4 games, including against Tottenham, Leicester and Brighton. They only managed a clean sheet against a poor Aston Villa side.

Boro will be extremely confident after beating Premier League defending champions in Manchester City by a score of 2-0 away from home. Middlesbrough themselves are also in great form, losing just 1 game in their last 15 and scored in all but 3 games during that spell. Boro are led by former Real Madrid manage Karanka, who will have surely called up Jose Mourinho for a bit of advise on how to beat Arsenal. Boro have a talented group of players like Kike, Bamford, Tomlin, Vossen and Leadbitter, who have been the key factor in the goal scoring department.

This game will be an exciting encounter with both teams looking to go hard at each other. Boro will look to take first blood to put Arsenal under pressure, and I think this should land up in both teams scoring in this encounter.

Spain La Liga
ATL Madrid to beat Celta Vigo @ 2.10 (Pinnacle) – 2.5 points

Atletico Madrid are coming into this game against Celta Vigo in great form after smashing Real Madrid 4-0; and confidence must be sky-high knowing that they are still in the title race after that win. This is a game in relation should be easier for Atletico Madrid, especially going 4-1 in their last 5 games in the league, which will bode them a lot of confidence.

For Madrid the forward line of Torres, Manduzkic, Greizmann, Koke, Turan, Garcia have been in epic form heading into this fiture. However, 3 of them will be missing with Koke injured and Turan and Garcia suspended, which will leave things extremely interesting for this game giving Torres the nod to start. The benefit also for Madrid is that they have not lost since 2005 to Celta Vigo away and even won 4 times, including a 2-0 win last year.

Celta Vigo on the other hand will not have their coach Eduardo Berizzo on the sidelines, as he is facing a 2 match ban. Celta Vigo are in terrible form, winning just 1 game since November against 20th place Cordoba. Celta have relied overly on Nolito & Larrivey netting 7 goals, but other than that have failed to create any impact. They have been poor defensively conceding 9 goals in their last 10 games, which has shown you off their struggles and low scoring games.

Atletico are confident, and you cannot have a substitute for confidence in football, and that itself along with the great form will help Atletico steal victory in this game.
