Australia v England
J Buttler 35 & over Performance Points @ 1.72 (Bet365) – 2.5 points

The reason for taking Jos is simple, he comfortably landed his picks in the first 3 games of this 5 in this ODI series.

He landed up with 52 points, 107 points, 25 points, 65 points, 48 points in his last 4 games, and will be looking to repeat similar performances tonight. In the bowling department, Jos always seems to take a minimum of 2 catches, and maximum of 4 catches on a regular basis. Especially when you look at the team taking on this situation at the MCG on a pacey wicket against the Australians, there is more than likely chance that Jos should take atleast 2-3 catches in this game especially due to the form his bowlers have shown in this ODI series.

On the batting front, Jos has a career average of 32 in ODI’s, and while he hasn’t been in the best of form recently, the lower order of England will surely rely on him to put up some runs on the board if they bat first, and help in securing the chase if they bat second in this game. His runs have helped him secure the performance points in previous games, and I expect similar performance in today’s game as well.
