SUPER SUNDAY football is back in February, and after a lousy football run in January, need a dramatic turnaround in Feb.

Italian Serie A
Napoli to beat Chievo @ 1.75 (Bet365) – 3 points

Napoli take on Chievo in this round of the Italian Serie A, knowing that a victory here will shorten their lead with Roma to just 4 points as well as potentially stretch out a 5 point lead over 4th placed Lazio as well.

Napoli have been the form team heading into this fixture winning 4 out of their last 5 fixtures, with their only defeat coming via a 3-1 loss to league leaders Juventus at home. Other than that, their only previous loss in the last 3 months of football came against Milan by a score of 2-0 in December. Napoli in their recent form have scored 10 goals from those 5 games, while conceding only 5. In their away fixture this season, they sit top of the table, getting 18 out of a possible 30 points so far. This should bode decently well against their opponents Chievo who are bottom of the home table with just 1 victory from 10 games.

Gonazlo Higuain leads all Napoli scorers with 12; and he is the 2nd highest also in the Serie A. He is in good form, and I expect him to net as he has gathered 7 goals in his last 6 games in all competitions They also have Jose Callejon, Daniel Zapata, Jonathon de Guzman and Marek Hamsik among their attacking midfielders/wingers who also chip in with the goals.

Napoli have a team with much better quality than Chievo and I expect them to grab all 3 points tonight in a tightly contested affair.

German Bundesliga
Augsburg v Hoffenheim – Over 2.5 goals @ 1.75 (Bet365) – 3  points

Games involving Hoffenheim are always entertaining in the Bundesliga because invariably they produce a lot of goals in their games and with this low odds and the first game back after the winter break, you can expect a lot of action happening.

Hoffenheim’s last 5 games, have had 19 goals involved in them, and this shows the kind of action that I was talking with about above. While they have scored 12 themselves, they have also conceded 7 goals. Away from home also their games this season have had 16 goals in their last 5 away games, which is an average of over 3 goals per game. They concede as much as they score, so definitely expect goals at both ends when Hoffenheim in action.

Augsburg on the other hand are making a push to sneak in the Champions League places, and are 3 points behind Gladbach in 3rd spot, and a high scoring victory could push them there tonight. Augsburg at home also their games this season have had 16 goals in their last 5. For the season they had had 28 goals in their last 8 games, which is 3.5 goals per game, which is something their fans will be looking to see in some entertaining games.

These teams played 2 friendlies last week, and had over 2.5 goals in both of them, and when they both of them clash together, I expect more of the high scoring efforts happening. There are plenty of good scoring players on both sides including Verhaegh, Bobadilla, Roberto Firmino, Elyounoussi, Modeste, Werner and Szalai; so we can expect an exciting game with over 2.5 goals tonight.
