Looking early on today to grab another performance points pick from some extremely talented individuals who can contribute with both Bat and Ball in the Tri Series in Australia.

England v India
Jos Buttler 34 & Over Performance Points @ 1.83 (Bet365) – 3 points

As England and India prepare to take on each other in this hotly contest encounter, there is only one player who looks likely to have a front row seat of the action and that will be England’s Jos Buttler. Whether he will be needed to slog a few on this bouncy track as he loves the pace and his ramp shots or whether keeping behind to his quicks on the fastest Australian wicket he is likely to be in the thick of the action.

The reason for taking Jos is simple, aside from the last games, he comfortably landed his picks in the first 2 games of this ODI series. He scored 25 runs and took 2 catches for 45 points in the 1st match, while taking 4 catches and 1 stumping for 65 points in the 2nd at the pacey Brisbane. At Hobart, the deck was pretty flat, and it didn’t look that there would be too much carry to Jos Buttler.

The Indians’ have struggled with pace this series, and with a 4 strong England pace attack of Finn, Anderson, Broad and Woakes, they will surely trouble the Indian batsman especially the likes of Dhawan, Rayudu, Raina in the batting, while the tail is always available to be had.

WACA is good for pace and bounce as seen from the last fixture where Australia and South Africa played in an ODI game and De Kock had 34 performance points, while Wade had 49 performance points in the 2nd ODI played. In the 1st ODI of the series, De Kock had a low 22 points however Wade had 85 performance points.

Jos Buttler should comfortably land this one, and also being my one of my favourite cricketers, would love to see him perform.
