Looking to grab on some early lines today to continue the decent run on the NBA picks we are having now.

SA Spurs -6 to beat DEN Nuggets @ 1.67 (Bet365) – 3 points

The San Antonio Spurs finally have all of their players fit and looking good to finally focus on making the playoffs again this campaign. The Spurs have won 3 straight games beating Portland, Utah and Charlotte while also going 7-3 in their last 10 games.

They finally have their settled first 5 of Splitter, Duncan, Belenelli, Green and Parker straight of the bat, while having Ginobili, Mills, Diaw, Baynes, Joseph to come off the bench and put in a lot of attacking strength. This finally looks like that Spurs who won the Championship last season, and today will be a good chance to see if they can improve on their road record which has been 11-10 so far. These 2 teams had met earlier this season with the Spurs winning by 8 points when they travelled to Denver, and will look to replicate a similar performance considering the decent form that they are on in.

The Nuggets have struggled for most of the campaign. While Faried and Lawson have been their best players so far, there have been moments when Afflalo, Chandler, Hickson and Nelson have occasionally stepped up to the plate. The Nuggets have lost 3 straight games now against Golden State, Minnesota and Dallas which won’t do their confidence good when they take on a tough defense team such as San Antonio. Also they are the 4th worst team in opponent points conceded around 104 points; while Spurs are 7th best at 97.

The Spurs will look to continue their run and Pop knows that the rest will help them as compared to the Nuggets who got smashed by the Warriors last night; and I expect Spurs to cover the spread now that they have the entire team to share the load.
