SOCCER Saturday starts of in November, and I am hoping to focus now with some solid picks after a lot of research preparing for this weekend.

England Premier League
West Brom v Arsenal – Sanchez Anytime @ 2.25 (Bet365) – 2 points

Chelsea AH-1.25 to beat Sunderland @ 1.91 (Pinnacle) – 2.5 points

Chelsea have been unbeaten in the league; and continue their good form so far in the league by beating all opponents and that was evident with a 5-0 midweek thrashing of Schalke away from home. Chelsea already six points clear of Southampton and eight ahead of Manchester City so early on in this campaign; and with both those sides playing each other; they will hope to maintain a 6 and possibly open up 9 point lead after the weekend as City and Saints play each other.

Diego Costa, Fabregas, Hazard, Oscar have all be in sensational form in their attacking prowess creating chances and also scoring goals at various opportunities to give Chelsea one of the more formidable teams out there. They take on a weak Sunderland team who head into the game having managed only 13 points from 12 games this campaign so far. They got smashed by Southampton 8-0 and Arsenal 2-0 before improving their defending to get 2 draws and a victory in their last 3 games. They have lost their last nine encounters against Chelsea at home, not picking up a victory since October 2000.

Expecting Chelsea to pick up a victory in this game by possibly 2 or 3 goals.

Spain La Liga
Real Madrid AH-1.5 to beat Malaga @ 2.10 (Bet365) – 2.5 points

Real Madrid come into this game on the back of some hot form, where they have not list a game since the Super Cup back in August. Real Madrid have been cracking form winning 15 games in a row, with most of their games being an easy smashing by over 3 goal winning margin with 10 out of those 15 games being by that result. Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema have been in cracking scoring form, and in particular Ronaldo who has scored 19 goals in 11 games including 8 goals in 8 games straight, and he will be expected to continue his scoring run, and looking to grab a record in the La Liga for the most goals in a season. Defensively Real madrid have improved slightly conceding only 5 goals in their last 13 games which will stand them in good stead.

Malaga have been a struggling mid-table team last year, but have made some good improvements this campaign, to get to 6th place in the table now. They had won 5 games in row in the La Liga after a poor start to the season, and that run was beaten last week after a 3-1 loss to Atletico Madrid. Malaga’s goal scoring exploits have come primarily from Amrabat and Juanmi. They have conceded 12 goals in 12 games and will look to try and be tight; but the recent form from Real Madrid, clearly shows you how well they will dominate the game and continue holding the 2 point lead over Barcelona.

Real Madrid to win this game covering a 1.5 goal handicap tonight.
