We are back in the UEFA competition action, with the 1st group from the UEFA Europa League taking place or as I would like to refer it as the MICKEY-MOUSE CUP.

UEFA Europa League
Celtic to beat Astra @ 1.70 (Bet365) – 2.5 points
Celtic to beat Astra @ 2.20 (Bet365) – 1 point (#INPLAYMAGIC)

Celtic head into this Europa League game knowing that a win against the poor Romanian side will most likely put them at the top of their group and probably seal their passage into the next round.

Celtic have been extremely poor in their domestic league, and that is probably down to the lack of a challenge in the league that they have been dominating for a number of years, now more than ever since Rangers are no longer there. They have recently put on a little run of victories winning 4 out of the last 5 games and will be looking at such European nights to push on for victory. Goals this season have been primarily coming by Guidetti, Stokes, Commons and Griffiths and they will be looking at this game as a confidence booster to add to their tally.

Astra have been conversely in absolutely rubbish form winning only 1 out of their last 8 games which includes defeats by scorelines of 3-1, 4-1 and 5-1. They haven’t won a game in 6 weeks now, and this wil hit their confidence badly ahead of this fixture.

Expecting Celtic to go and put in an outstanding home performance against a team who haven’t won away from home in 2 months now.

Dynamo Kiev to beat Aalborg @ 1.91 (Bet365) – 3 points

Dinamo Kiev come into this fixture on an 13 game unbeaten run absolutely romping through all opposition in their site as they aim to add some silverware on the European front for the first time since 1986. The team boasts a talented group of individuals such as Yarmalenko, Kravets, Lens, Belhanda among a few known names who have really performed well that has helped them to top of the Ukrainian Premier League in 2nd spot.

They already beat Bucharest and Rio Ave by netting 3 goals each, who found out not to underestimate the tough Ukrainian outfit. Defensively they have been also solid conceding just 7 games during that unbeaten streak, and this should help their confidence as Aalborg have been struggling to net.

The Danish Champions Aalborg are really struggling with numerous injuries heading into this fixture with Lukas Spalvis, Rasmus Jonsson and Patrick Kristensen all out. In all competitions they have been struggling with victories barely available winning just 1 out of their last 6 games. In matchday 1 they had a 6-0 thrashing by Steaua Bucharest, and which will give confidence to Kiev as the top team in the group, that they can also put in a top performance tonight.

Must side with the Ukrainians tonight and would should be a rout.
