England v India (Pre-Match Pick)
R Jadeja – Over 35 performance points @ 1.83 (Bet365) – 2 points

As India begin to take on England in the 4th ODI, they will fondly remember this as the ground that they beat Pakistan just a year ago as well as beat England themselves as they marched their way to the ICC Champions Trophy victory.

A key member of that squad that resulted in their victory was Ravindra Jadeja. The ‘ROCKSTAR’ as he has known has been an influential member of the Indian ODI side since 2012. While he puts more effort in with the ball, he manages to chip in a lot in the field as well as contribute with the runs on an occasional basis. Jadeja loves this ground, taking 2 wickets on both his appearances on this ground in the above mentioned matches for an easy 40 points; and with Birmingham generally being a turning wicket, I expect Jadeja to continue with that form. He take an average of 1.25 wickets per match, and for an all-rounder that is a pretty decent stat. Jadeja still need some more effort to find his feet with the bat, and if India bat first; I think you could see him knock around 10-15 runs quite easily to reduce the effort of him to take just one wicket.

How Performance points works:
20 points – Wicket
10 points – Catch
1 point – 1 run
